The route to lock three
The demo gives an 80% survival chance at lock one, 75% at lock two, and two thirds at lock three. Reaching lock three from the start requires all three steps to succeed: 0.80 × 0.75 × 2/3 = 0.40, or 40%. This is the chance of completing that route, not a payout.
After the first success, two steps remain
If lock one has already been passed, it should not be counted again. The conditional chance of passing the next two locks is 0.75 × 2/3 = 0.50, or 50%. The difference between 40% and 50% comes only from the starting point of the calculation: the whole round, or the state after the first success.
The exit stays fixed during the round
Lock three is selected before Start. Once the round is active, the selection controls are disabled, and the game advances automatically until the chosen exit or a failure. There is no button to leave early. A failure ends with zero return; reaching lock three triggers automatic settlement at that exit.

Is 50% the chance from the start?
No. It is the chance of passing locks two and three after lock one has already been passed. From the start, the chance for all three steps is 40%.
Can I change from lock three to another exit during the round?
No. Choose the exit before starting; the controls are disabled while the round is active.
